Sweet Chestnut

Not long after we moved into this house 20 years ago a friend gave us a Sweet Chestnut tree that had outgrown his garden. It never bore fruit until this year and it is covered.
I have just read up on it and it says they don't fruit until they are 25 years old, so I reckon it must have been five years old when we were given it.
How exciting!!
