Uncle Henry's Dog

Uncle Henry is 92 years old and lives independently.  His mind is as sharp as a pin and he is a realy character.   He has lived all his life in the same village..

While visiting him I said I thought his labrador ornament had a nice face and he absolutely insisted that I take it home with me.  I tried protesting but he said it would just be thrown on the rubbish tip when anything happened to him.

I have to admit that I am rather fond of it (I think it's a he) and it (he) has pride of place on sitting on my bookshelf.
