Homeward bound

Sleep didn't really happen last night. The neighbours had the TV on and of course I couldn't put the ear plugs in. I did doze for about an hour, then up at 4.15 ( an hour earlier in real money) and in the airport at the ridiculously early 5 am. Only having 37c meant I couldn't buy anything.

I had the emergency seat on the ol a new, daft as I don't need the extra legroom. It was a good flight but 20 minutes late due to head winds. I had another doze. Then back with a bump to the hurly burly of Gatwick rail station. Train, tube and walk and I was only 15 minutes late.

The meeting was ok but 2 items I'd heard before. We finished an hour early so I had time at London City for some food, and tried not to think about the 6pm I could have been on.

I've got about an hour's work to do when I get home, getting ready for A tomorrow night. And then I have to sleep. Busy day tomorrow.
