Silhouette.
I spotted this reflection in a small puddle of water in our backyard today and thought that it would make an interesting image. I liked the one above out of a number of images, mostly due to the composition.
I processed a number of versions from the original and eventually settled for this B&W. I introduced a tiny bit of colour back into the sky area as additional interest. Its interesting how a simple photograph can become so complex during post processing. One heads down one path, only to then try something else, only to then branch off into some other area and so it goes on. And eventually having to return to the original version and start again. Fun though, albeit slightly frustrating. Still experimentation is the father of invention artistic practise.
