Spoiled for choice

A low key, first day of holiday, take it easy sort of a day. We had a little walk round where we are staying and went into Syracuse late afternoon. It was clouding over and later it rained again but nowhere near as heavily as yesterday.
This is the Temple of Apollo. I also loved the cathedral which incorporates the Temple dedicated to Athena in the 5th century BC. Tomorrow we will venture further afield.
