A Queen's Castle

A silver crown rests on an arrangement of purple delphiniums, cream roses, Scottish lavender, shamrock and thistles in this beautiful creation entitled 'Queen at Balmoral'.

Situated in the Heraldry Room the floral display by award winning designer Mig Kimpton is guarded by portraits of former owners of Leeds Castle and surrounded by a timeline of the 900 year history.

Surely that's an acceptable entry for this week's Mono theme of 'Cultural'? Just a pity the photo has to be in black and white with such beautiful purples, blues, silvers and creams.
