Approaching storm

We were just leaving the little town of Regusse in Provence-Alpes after a seven mile walk through oak woods and a look at the historic windmills and obligatory visit to a cafe when we spotted these purple clouds above the roofs. Twenty minutes later we were driving through battering rain as the thunder rolled and sheet lightning flickered briefly overhead.

Glad we weren't caught out in the open. The sky seems to be clearing a bit now...
