Backblip City of light, glass, and art

Chartres Cathedral is (according to the campsite information) 1.9 miles from the site.  That doesn't include the 1/4 mile walk to the gates!  The woodland and riverside walk to the old town is a delight and the steep climb to the cathedral was endured with the thought of a taxi back!  No such luck!  We walked back at a leisurely  very slow pace, but it was worth the effort.
