An invitation I couldn't refuse!

A few months ago, during a routine check, the doc spotted something lurking down my gullet. Seems I have developed something called Barrett's Syndrome. So after some treatment in Larbert, I was referred to Glasgow Royal so that the team there could nuke my gullet from the inside and hopefully sort the problem once and for good.
Today was meet the team day and a talk through the proposed procedure. So now I sit back and await the next invitation in a few weeks time.
The trip also reminded me why I don't really like Glasgow all that much. Just too many people in the same place at the same time! Then again I tend to feel the same about anyplace where there are big crowds, especially when they all seem to be going in the opposite direction to me. Im just an open spaces sort of chap.
