coffee time

we went to Harpers photographic in Woking today.Towards the end of our canadian adventure I noticed a huge a black blob in the top right corner of the viewfinder. It is not coming out on the pictures so is more annoying than anything just 'cos I can see it. We tried blowing it off in Canada but it wouldn't budge. Harpers man tried but to no avail. He thinks it is stuck to the focus thing and would need to go away. The conclusion was, wait til something else goes wrong then send it away a service can be expensive. we asked about the 135-300 zoom lens as well because that spasmodically gets stuck and wont retract. £200 to service. new one is only £300 so wait till it ceases completely then buy a new one. We then went for a coffee to debate buying a second and grey lens. On looking at the shots i took in the shop with both the lens we looked at we decided not to buy as we felt they were not sharp enough and one of them felt a bit sloppy.
