Edinbirding

Today didn't quite work out as planned. First of all, Mr PB's race meeting at Ayr was called off. My plan was to meet up with my old blipfriend DaveH in Musselburgh for a bit of birding. I got up bright and early (well, early) . It did happen, eventually, but not before my train had been delayed by 2 hours and disrupted the entire rail network as a consequence of hitting someone about half way between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Quite upsetting, but blue skies, lots of lovely birds, and Dave's company were very therapeutic, although very gusty winds gave us a good blasting.
