electrodes
Today we tried out the new data logger for the ancient geopulse system in the field - well, the lawn outside our building. Today's blip shows the electrodes stuck into the ground used to take the resistivity measurements logged by the pi. Without a mallet we struggled to get them into the dry(!) ground. The spacing was also only 0.5m so not much penetration into the ground. Still the system worked as hoped. The extra shows a very happy Erica who is going to get a student to use the system for some geophysical survey of an archaeological site for their project. Erica was telling me about a conference she went to where some company proudly showed their acquisition system that could be controlled from a tablet. Well, this one can as well.
Got some more pictures on flickr.
