Ever hopeful

Only day two of the week but it feels tonight like it should be at least Thursday. Three cover lessons were set up first thing only to find out that I could actually teach one of my lessons. It was probably better that I had them than anyone else but I could have done without the double work. And some very minor involvement in a critical decision today. I hope it's been the right one. 

Lots still to do with my non-teaching time and an early-ish getaway for the first time in about a week and a half was scuppered by a lengthy conversation with a colleague. I did get home to Bailey eventually who was relatively pleased to see me and definitely on the look out for anything he might be able to cadge.
