Lakeside Picnic

Hello Blipfriends!
Dolly here again today!

Mum wasn't feeling too bad with her cold, which is a good thing because she had a meeting this afternoon. I got to stay home. It was a beautiful sunny, warm afternoon so when she got home we went walkies almost right away. Today she did everything right:

1. We left home in plenty of time to watch the sunset!
2. She brought a chair with us!
3. She brought a picnic!

And so we didn't walk so far, but we did have a lovely visit to the lake and sat in one of our favourite spots (but where are YOU going to sit, Mum?). The picnic was simple but delicious. The view and sunset were beautiful. We had a visit from some swans but otherwise we weren't disturbed. A perfect outing!
