Gold

We had time for a wander around Lincoln this morning before the Christening. The Cathedral, the Castle (from outside the grounds) and a few of the shops. Managed to get a photo of my first English gold postbox. After getting all the Scottish ones, this isn't the start of the full collection of English ones!

We got breakfast and then ice cream to rival Wendy's in Stockbridge from Go Gelato. I had jammie dodger and red velvet cupcake flavours, and Holly had millionaire shortbread and birthday cake flavours.

In the afternoon we were in Glentham for Freya's christening, and to a garden centre afterwards for a high tea.

After the Christening, Tracy and Steve took us back into Lincoln and joined us for a few drinks. Steve and I shared a beer flight, with six third-pints. Nice to catch up with them, before Holly and I had dinner at a Mexican restaurant.
