New worktop!

Another good DIY day :)  We were a little bit slow getting up this morning, being rather knackered from the last few days, but then cracked on with it.  It may not sound a lot, but it took pretty much all day to cut the hole for the sink, and then fit that and another section of worktop.  All went well though, and the kitchen is looking much more kitcheny again - and starting to look much nicer, too.  We also had to have a quick trip out to B&Q this afternoon (keeping up the near-daily tradition), to buy some plumbing bits and a hammer drill.  I was completely exhausted by the time we got back, but a nice cup of tea picked me right up.

We carried on up until late afternoon, then Tim did a bit more while I booked our grocery shop online.  Then we ordered a Chinese and settled in for the evening!

(By the way, the skanky looking bit of window frame is going to be tiled - it's not staying like that!)
