The Pencil

We were in Largs today and in blustery conditions made a long trek out to 'The Pencil' as it's known locally, the tower erected to commemorate the Battle of Largs in 1263 in which the Scots defeated the Norse invaders. Cara was more interested in something in the grass, however.
