Sixteenth Century Timber-Framed Building

Another lovely day and daughter visiting.Through a little passageway off Magdalene St, Cambridge, is Benson's Court, where students from Magdalene College are housed. What delightful surroundings they are in, with the river nearby and college punts at the ready. This is an early sixteenth century timber-framed building and entry to the courtyard is gained through a sixteenth century gateway which has the original doors. A few paces away from a very busy and bustling road is this peaceful haven.What a wonderful place to live.
