2:30 am Day 1 of Ice Storm

One of these two trees fell around 2:30 and the second not long after. This view is out the living room window. There wasn't much sleeping that happened after that, just laying and listening to the trees explode and fall all around us. Hoping nothing would land on the house. Nothing big ever hit the house though- just the tops of a few large branches and some bits of trunks as the top of a pine outside Fiona's room exploded when it hit the ground.
