Golden Bilberry Bushes

On the way up to the summit of the Valerette (top left corner) this morning, Autumn is definitely here. There seems to be fresh snow on the Dents du Midi. Too many sheep and cows in the high pastures to see any wild animals but I heard the distant bellowing of the stags beginning their rut somewhere deep in the forest.
