PeanutEater

A male Red-bellied Woodpecker at the seed feeders. Peanuts are what he's come for... I try not to disappoint!  'Extra' today is of the young Red-bellied that I blipped on Sept 15th. The red feathers, which are beginning to cover the entire top of his head and identify him as a male, are really beginning to fill in. He is a HUGE FAN of the BarkButter feeders.
