The day started depressingly with the news of the Aleppo hospitals as I drove in to work and it continued with my supervisor's landlord deciding give notice on her tenancy so that the place can be converted into lucrative holiday lets. I am the only resident tenant in my terrace and wonder how long it will be. And then work has been staggeringly unsupportive since I got back last Friday which has been very upsetting. All injustices however small (and ours mostly are in the face of Aleppo) diminish us and humanity

I nipped out to run (sort of) along the shore before it got dark to get a little bit of training in for the 'fun' run (oxymoron in my book) to raise funds for the Heritage House day centre on Sunday.
