Old Friends

Today, we have had a wonderful visit with our old friends Joe and Ginny and their handsome son Sam.  Mr. W and Joe have known each other since high school days (!), and Joe was a very important participant in our wedding.  We have loved Joe and his wife Ginny for almost 40 years, and we are always thrilled when we get the chance to spend time together.  We have had a great afternoon talking, laughing, and reminiscing, and we've just polished off a huge meal -- as you can see from this picture, Mabel is looking askance at Sam, as if to ask if he's going to polish off the last of the dessert, or if he's going to give her a cut!
