Triggered

So, I was watching the latest episode of The Great British Bake Off, and they had to make cakes. This triggered me to make one, too.
So here we have a vanilla cake with raspberry buttercream. I found the recipe on the interwebs, and the cake is light and spongy, and very delicious. I flavoured the buttercream with raspberry jelly crystals, because, why not.

Anyway, it's very sweet and rich and scrumptious, and now that I've had a piece, I think I need a lie down!
