Handsome Tui

This beautiful man was serenading me from the garden.

It is lovely to see and hear tui again - I haven't see one the whole time I've lived in  South Canterbury.

Great lunch out today with family for my sister's birthday.  Then dinner out tonight.  

Oh, and I happened to be in Motueka this afternoon so had to pop into one of my favourite shoe shops.  I accidentally came out with 2 pairs of shoes.  Well, one is a lovely pair of colourful sandals for this summer, the other is an enormously marked down pair of purple boots that I clearly need for next winter.
