HANGING OUT

I grabbed five minutes in a car park overlooking the sea and found not only the cormorants hanging out, but a young wheatear (extra) and lots of knots, turnstones and oystercatchers, as well as the usual gulls and pigeons. It was gorgeous and sunny but too windy to stay out of the car for long without a jacket (for me - many locals were walking up and down in the usual t-shirts).

Wild Girls tonight - we're having a coffee & cakes evening in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, so I'd better rush off and make my cake.

(This is quite nice in big.)
