Have I Created A Monster?

Thought I'd found "The Day of The Triffids" this morning.........
Must be because of all the rain we've had and now the heat and (dare I say sunshine)..
my rhubarb thinks it's great!!!!!
Has anyone ever seen rhubarb leaves this size before?? It looked like it was trying to 'eat my compost bin'......and that is not exactly a small compost bin.......
I think I've figured it out though.....you know the way it's said that rhubarb would grow best on 'a dung heap' well it must be getting super-nutrients from my compost.....
Trying to figure out if I should leave it, to see what happens?? or pull it all now and freeze it or make jam or pies or crumble or........oh, this is starting to sound good!!!!
