Not quite the same

This is the temporary structure in Pooley Bridge which has been in place since the original stone bridge was washed away during the floods following Storm Desmond earlier this year.
Not quite the same as the beautiful stone built one but there are plans for a replacement once all the surveys etc have taken place.
Glenridding is still undergoing building work to the hotel, some of the shops and flood defences along the river. At least the tourists haven't been put off...
