Gorgeous Noto

Better weather and a splendid day out. First, we did the scenic tour of the peninsula we are staying on, stopping off at the lighthouse. Then the pretty road to the utterly gorgeous baroque town of Noto. Then another Roman villa with very fine mozaics (though not as impressive in terms of preservation or number as yesterday).
Home for a rest and the out for food in Syracuse.
Brilliant apart from the midges and mosquitos coming out after all that rain.
