Britain's Best View

A quick  dash to the Lakes for a special blip meet.

Decided to go via Wast Water as it isn't a location I visit very often.  The weather was interesting, and I got utterly soaked as the heavens opened.  But there were compensations!  I was just about to put the camera back in the car when I looked up to see a rainbow forming.  I dashed up to a nearby high point and took a few images before the rainbow disappeared as quickly as  it had appeared.

after that excitement I headed towards my ultimate destination.  Even then I had to stop a couple of times on the way as the evening light gave one final display (see extras)
