Life is for learning

After years of cerebral neglect and procrastination, I find myself trying to play catchup with reading and learning.
Even as the years breeze by there appear to be an increasing number of moments of revelation and lucidity. There probably have been more of these moments, but for the sheer ignorance, arrogance or inexperience of youth I didn't recognise them.
Just been reading the amazing book #1 of the above series ... so THAT'S how cameras and lenses work!! ... and that's what those pretty little numbers on the barrel of the lens mean!!! .....
