The hole shell

Hadn't been to St Combs beach for a few years so stopped by today on the way up to see my parents. A couple of kite surfers played around at the south end overlooking Rattray Head and the wind kept things a bit cooler.

Lots of nice images but I've chosen this one even though the horizon isn't horizontal. It's weird because usual I need to straighten an image like this.

As my framing was too tight due the camera being very low as I just tried to get a close up if the shell, I left the angle and like the end result.
