south african food

so this is a potjiekos....pronounced poiki....which is a delicious dish which is cooked in this three legged cast iron pot which is put on the braai.

Thefood is layered, starting with meat, then potatoes and then vegetables.
it is delicious and eaten with garlic bread and salad.

in other news....it reached about 30 degrees today and i happily sunbathed (this is south africa's winter!!!!!)

enjoyed special cousin time again with all 4 of them
