A man and woman - probably considered old and possibly full of virtue - are looking at these mannequins.  From a distance and at a particular angle the hands seem to be touching.  But they’re not.

So the woman looks round to check if any sales assistants are watching and happy that the coast is clear, nips over and joins the hands together.

She and her partner, admire their handiwork and then make a swift exit, giggling all the way to the exit.  They’re still giggling when they get home.
