Sun at the Folly.
A lovely morning for a walk. A little cool but splendid rays of sun through the trees as we climbed up through Cottingley Woods. The Folly here, built by the Ferrands family, is often a bit dark and gloomy to photograph but I couldn't resist the beams of light here today.
The fine weather remained until lunchtime and then of course it rained as I had put some washing out.
A busy morning after the walk; a trip to the shops in the village and Keighley and then the food bank in Bingley.
Once home I made some Olive bread to freeze for our trip to our daughter's next week and Chris made some more tomato soup to freeze with our massive tomato yield. This is the second batch he has made this month. He is going to make some pasta sauce to freeze too which should be interesting as he's using all yellow tomatoes. We have given away two bags full this week and there's still enough left to pick for our own use and to take to Bristol next week.
It was such a slow start this year but I think we have had the biggest tomatoes crop ever this year.
Happy weekend everyone.
