The Blipmeet comes to an end...

Six days ago amandoAlentejo and Mike picked us up in Lisbon and after some hours there we headed for their home in Mora, in Alentejo.
As us two couples hadn't met in real life before we wondered how it would go. Three of us are blippers so we weren't total strangers but even so...
We needn't have worried, as I hope the pictures from the last few days show.
So, tomorrow it is goodbye to Portugal. Our thanks to all the friends, old and new, who made us so welcome, and made our stay here really interesting, fun, and even at times thought provoking!
It was really hard to choose a photo for today, so there's a couple of extras...
The main blip shows Mora, from the Megalithic museum. This really is a good museum, beautifully designed. These spectacular screens form a corridor between the three buildings.   You can see a nighttime blip from me and another daytime blip from amandoAlentejo of the same place.
In the first extra we are eating delicious, almost healthy, pizzas fresh from the oven of Bia, who is about to open Mora's first pizzeria. The ingredients are mostly locally sourced and Alentejo food seems to be generally wonderful! Good luck Bia!!
The other extra is flamingos over the Tagus.  We stopped off here to see if we could get some good photographs of the flamingos, but they all stayed just a little too far away for my skills and lens! I love the exotic way they fly with their bent necks.
