A grand day out

Daughter L collected me this morning for a day out, but neither of us could decide where to go.  Ended up in Skipton for coffee and a wander round.  As we left the car the heavens opened!  Lovely coffee house and a little shopping later, we moved on to Ilkley.  Minute we left the car - heavens opened! Good time for lunch so Piccolino's was the place of choice - we couldn't even do justice to the food - the starters would have been enough!  As we left the restaurant the heavens opened!  Luckily, coming home over the Cow & Calf the weather provided a rainbow to add to the view - not very bright, but it was there. Collected the grandchildren from school (and bizarrely finally managed to collect J's ashes!) and arrived home just after 4.  Need a grandma nap now!
