Great Crested Grebe

I've always struggled to photograph great crested grebes. The weather always seems to be dull and they are too far away. I was therefore pleased to see this juvenile close to the path when we were walking along the River Weaver today.

The extra is a small copper butterfly. I could have done with seeing this on a different day for blip purposes.
