Compare the Meerkat

It was beautiful this afternoon so I arranged to meet my Mum up at Durrell Wildlife Park for a wander and of course tea and cake.

I got there first and whilst I was waiting I watched the baby spectacled bear up a tree. He's been moved in with both his parents now and looked like he was enjoying being up high. Next I watched the otters being fed some sort of shellfish. They had great fun but they were too fast for any decent photos.

The best animals for photographing were the meerkats sunning themselves in their enclosure. This one in particular is looking very relaxed indeed.
