Corny

The wee lady was quite taken with her first taste of corn on the cob - so much she ate mama's cob, too. It's certainly mgoing to result in an interesting dirty nappy tomorrow!! (Too corny?!?)

Everyone was pretty grumpy today from a night of broken sleep. Maybe that's why the kids seemed to be avoiding the wee man at school today.

'Who did you play with at school today?'
'Queenie wasn't available to play with.'
'Robbie wasn't available to play with either.'
'Nor was Sebastian.'
'Antek was available, though. But only for a little bit. Then he played with somebody else.'

At least they were polite about it, saying they 'weren't available!' I had a real good chuckle to myself.
