OakLeaf Hydrangea...spent
One of the things I love about Blipfoto, and have sorely missed, is being able to see life lived on the other side of the globe, and nowhere is it more visible than comparing the northern hemisphere’s waning flowers and the southern hemisphere's blooms.
There wasn’t much chance of my getting out and about today where the flowers are blooming (there are still several wildflowers blooming along the roads), so I’m photographing close to home, and no flowers here except ‘waned ones'. But the late afternoon sun was shining nicely on these spent oak leaf hydrangeas, almost pretty amongst the turning leaves,
