Dahlia

A little play with my macro lens on a very windy day - which is never a good idea!

I liked this close up shot of a gorgeous dahlia, took this one from below to capture some blue sky for the background - it is quite soft & dreamy.

2nd pic - another dahlia, this time was entranced by the "new" petals - loved how they were curled up so tightly into little tubes. I love how sparkly the new petals are. Shot with the grass as the background - so a much more vibrant shot
