Jewelry

Jewelry is a challenge I am working on for another group I am in. I tried my hand with focus stacking. Not perfect by any means but I did learn that working with macro and one healing eye is not a recipe for sharp photography. 

I suppose I should have a simpler subject for my first attempt, but this is a necklace that I have worn since my mom passed away earlier this year. The ring belonged to my grandmother. Mom wore it after Grandma passed away and now I am wearing it close to my heart. The cross was a gift from a dear friend and I added the charm. Every morning when I put it on, I am reminded how grateful I am to have had her and dad in my life.
