Crater Rim Walkway

My grandsons from Auckland are staying at present, so part of our sightseeing today was a ride up the gondola and a walk along the Crater Rim, enjoying the fantastic views down into Lyttelton Harbour.

They were impressed by the length of the Lyttelton tunnel too, and we thoroughly enjoyed the weekly Farmers Market, and sampling the wares from the stalls. If that wasn't enough, we walked down to the beach from home, and back up again. The Pacer app on my phone said we walked about 8km. There's absolute silence from their room now - and it'll be the same from mine shortly too! Such a beautiful day.
