Coffee, cake and porpoises
A Macmillan coffee morning took place on the outer breakwater in Fishguard Harbour. There is normally no public access to this finger of concrete and rock which being neither land nor sea but seems to occupy an existential space between the two.
We were rewarded by occasional glimpses of porpoises, seals and gannets along with sharp showers and bright bursts of sunlight.
A good way to relish the joy of being alive.
