Sarlat

This morning we went into Sarlat for the wonderful ( but touristy) market, and knowing that the town would be candlelit this evening we came back in for the evening, We weren't disappointed, and the whole town looked stunning with the thousands of tea lights lighting it up. Various 'shows' taking place, but we particularly enjoyed a performance of a cellist and woman doing a monologue. despite not having a clue what she was saying it was very atmospheric and fitting with the feel of the evening. The cathedral was also beautifully illuminated and is my blip for the day.
