Success!

A small group of our villagers, working under the banner Nicer Newburgh, work to further beautify our village by creating and caring for communal flower beds and planters. A couple of days ago we were delighted to hear that, for the second year running, we had won first prize in our category in the Formartine in Bloom competition.


Fortuitously we had planned to hold a fund raising event today in the village hall, with teas, coffees and scones, and home baking and handicrafts for sale. The extra shows the members of the gardening group together with the home baking table.
