Day Twenty Six - Montanita

This morning, Brendan got up early go to and bring me breakfast in bed! It was so lovely and I got a pancake with Nutella, banana and extra Nutella, damn it was good! We sat in bed and watched an episode of Sherlock whilst eating our brekkie - perfect!

We then headed down to chill on the beach for a bit. We were tooing and froing between surfing, but the waves looks particularly nasty and huge today, not great for beginners so we passed! We spent most of the day just relaxing on the beach in the half sunshine half cloud. Me and Brendan then went for our final walk down the beach and bumped into one of the guys from our hostel. Turns out, he was stoned as anything!

That evening, we went out for dinner at the same pasta place as the first night and I had a huge salad with shrimps in oyster shells with a breadcrumb top - it was really nice!

Back at the hostel, we finished off my closs and then I ordered a vodka soda and strawberry - not a good choice! It's sickly sweet and doesn't have the tang that lime does! Rookie error! I wanted to go out with the rest of the hostel but Brendan wanted to go to bed, so after a disagreement, I went out and left him to be boring and go to sleep!

We went out to cocktail alley for a G&T and hung out on the streets (like the cool kids we are!) for a bit. The group then headed to the lost beach club bar, where all the girls got in for free and the guys had to pay $5 entrance fee! We felt smug about this until we realised the extortionate price of the drinks there! I was almost only there just out of principle to Brendan so I had one drink to prove my point and had a little boogie. I left and got a burger from the amazing $2 burger stand on the way back and ate it back at the hostel with some of the guys and the hostel owner.

I got into bed around 3:30, but unfortunately Brendan was out like a light so I couldn't even tell him 'how great a night he'd missed out on'!! I was out like a light!
