Shades of green

The difference between yesterday and today was more than just the ending of the entry title!  

Changing the 'y' to an 'en' seems to have changed things - suddenly the sun is shining the temperatures are up, the garden is getting some love and attention and I'm loving the fresh air and being outdoors.  

What a difference an 'en' makes! 

The gardening came after a leisurely breakfast at 7.30 followed by watching a sound but unspectacular All Blacks match v Argentina.  It was a bit of a stop-start match where getting any flow was difficult.  Still, a win's a win and they remain seemingly unstoppable at the moment.  

Today's image is a skeletal leaf I found under the lemon tree.  Fascinating how its structure remains intact but other leaves rot away.
