Apple of My Eye

I was trying to get a photo of Poppy's very expertly applied eyeshadow. She's been experimenting with gold & taupe colours today. In this shot, she started laughing at something and it seemed a nicer photo than one of her eyelids...
Dragged myself out for a run this morning. it was bright but chilly. Alfie is feeling quite poorly with his cold. He has been asleep curled up in a wicker chair but just moved himself over to the sofa. It's 3.30 and he's still in his pyjamas.
I'm wondering if this is an elaborate ploy to get tomorrow off school? We'll see how ill he feels when Arsenal kick off in an hour....
